Mission Alive Canada, Executive Director
In 2020 when the world was shut down from COVID, Mission Alive launched a sister ministry in Canada called Mission Alive Canada. It was a God-given dream as far back as 2009 to help Canadian Christians guide their own church-planting ministry. Mission Alive church planter, Kevin Vance, took the lead and with the assistance of Jeremy Hoover and Mission Alive (US) invited several Americans and Canadians to join the board of directors to help launch this ministry.
Recently, the Mission Alive Canada (MAC) board of directors hired its first executive director, Don Rose. For the past 18 years Don has led Great Lakes Christian High School in Beamsville, Ontario, to thrive at a time when Christian institutions of all kinds are struggling.
Don joins Mission Alive Canada with an extensive network of friends, colleagues, and contacts across Canada and the US. We believe God has led Mission Alive and Mission Alive Canada to this point and brought Don at just the right time. Would you join us in thanksgiving and prayer for Don as he makes this transition and for Mission Alive Canada as we launch a new effort to plant new Innovative Faith Communities (IFCs) across Canada from British Columbia to the Maritimes?
