We’ve received a second grant from Pepperdine University!
We just love sharing good news! This generous second grant from Pepperdine University’s “Empower and Equip Initiative” funded by the Lilly Endowment, Inc., extends our Rural and Small Town Initiative (RSTI). Mission Alive will receive an additional $30,000 above the original $50,000 grant announced earlier this year. Please join us in praising God and thanking Pepperdine University and the Lilly Endowment, Inc.
With these grants, Mission Alive plans to start five new Innovative Faith Communities (IFCs) in rural areas and small towns across the U.S. Two have already launched in Lufkin and Bertram, Texas and we have a third IFC that may launch in a rural or small town area near Spartanburg, South Carolina.
We are looking to launch at least two more IFCs in rural or small town communities by the end of 2027. If you are interested in leading an IFC in this type of community or know someone who could be interested, please contact Mission Alive. We are particularly interested in launching new IFCs in the Upper Midwest and the Mountain West regions. If you have contacts in those areas, please let us know. We’d love to partner with those already on the ground.
Please keep this initiative in your prayers!.
