The Table-Irving, Mission Alive’s IFC in Irving, Texas, is staying busy this fall under the leadership of Steve and Laura Allen. During October, the group and their nonprofit partner, All Things Made New, hosted two successful work days to establish their new Community Garden at the Irving Community Center. With significant help from Home Depot donations, community members, and volunteers from a neighboring church, the garden is being readied for spring planting. It will serve as a source of shared food and a new way to build bridges to the neighborhood they serve.
