Celebrating 21 years: A journey of faith and growth
You may remember (and even attended) our 20th year anniversary celebration last year at the Museum of Biblical Art and this month we joyfully celebrate 21 years of ministry since our founding in 2004! From the very beginning, our vision has been clear: to plant Innovative Faith Communities (IFCs), make disciples, and equip leaders to bring the transformative message of Jesus’ love to those in the margins of our world. Over two decades later, that mission is more alive than ever.
Since our launch, Mission Alive has planted 29 churches across North America, many in places overlooked or underserved by traditional church models. Our IFCs represent diverse communities, all united by the same call—to live out the Gospel in authentic, Spirit-led ways. Each one is a testament to God’s faithfulness and the power of intentional discipleship.
As we reflect on this milestone, we also look forward. 2025 holds the exciting possibility of three new IFC plants, further expanding our reach into communities hungry for hope, connection, and spiritual renewal.
What makes Mission Alive unique is our deep commitment to holistic training, relational coaching, and Spirit-led discipleship. Together with all of you we don’t just launch churches—we prayerfully walk alongside church planters ensuring they are spiritually grounded, missionally focused, and culturally responsive.
We are especially grateful for the network of supporters, leaders, and partners who have journeyed with us over the years. Your prayers, generosity, and encouragement have helped fuel this mission and create a movement of churches that are deeply rooted in both Scripture and context.
As we celebrate our 21-year anniversary, we invite you to join us in gratitude—and anticipation. There is still so much more to do. Together, we can ignite a new generation of church planters and bring the light of Christ to communities still waiting to experience His love.
