New course now available!
Mission Alive is excited to announce a transformative new course: “Missional Initiatives for Individuals and Small Groups.” This online, self-directed course is designed to equip individuals and small groups to discover new ways of joining God’s mission right in their own neighborhoods and without leaving their current churches.
The course leads you on a practical exploration of missional ministry. You’ll explore the key principles associated with being missional and incarnational and begin creating missional habits as you engage your neighbors. We’ll help you get to know your community in deeper ways to discover what’s already working and where your neighbors are hurting and in need. As you learn more about your community, you will also discover new opportunities to join others who are already working in the areas you are most concerned about. Once you and/or your small group begin volunteering, you’ll continue to invest in forming new relationships. Your new friends will be a combination of those you serve and those you work alongside. You’ll be encouraged to share life and build community every chance you get. You’ll be amazed at what God does both in you and through you.
This course aligns directly with two of Mission Alive’s Innovative Faith Community (IFC) types: Individual Missional Initiatives and Missional Small Groups. It provides the foundational knowledge and practical tools for anyone feeling called to embody Christ’s love and make a tangible difference in their community.
