God has been faithful to Mission Alive since its beginning 20 years ago and continues to be faithful today! In this issue of Freshwater we want to share a few exciting updates on the ways God is working through Mission Alive to expand his kingdom.
- On October 10, 2024, Mission Alive supporters will gather in Abilene, Texas, at Grain Theory to learn more about the work Vini and Rachel Montesdeoca are doing with The Spiritual Transformation and Discipleship Ministry, which is now in its 3rd year. If you missed last week’s article about the work in Abilene, follow this link.
- In mid-October, a couple will go through Mission Alive’s assessment process to determine whether to move forward with a new church plant in southeast Texas.
- On November 7, Mission Alive friends in the Birmingham, Alabama, area will meet to witness firsthand what God and the service of Christ has in store for Birmingham and Bessemer. Bessemer is one of the 100 places that Mission Alive has identified as a marginalized community across the country that desperately need the transforming power of Christ. Birmingham and Bessemer stand to be the home for Mission Alive’s 30th church plant over our 20-year history. If you want to learn more about marginalized communities, follow this link.
Your prayers for the ministry of Mission Alive are essential! Please make time today to pray for these upcoming events.
