As part of our belief that human flourishing is what God designed for his creation, Mission Alive’s team is excited to participate in an upcoming event at Abilene Christian University’s Saunders Center for Joy and Human Flourishing featuring theologian Miroslav Volf. The event brings together people passionate about exploring how faith, community, and joy come together to shape a life of human flourishing.

The focus of this event connects deeply with our work with Mission Alive’s Innovative Faith Communities (IFCs). We’ve been developing ways to understand and measure human flourishing within these communities—helping them grow in spiritual, relational, and communal well-being, all grounded in the transforming power of the gospel.

Hearing from Dr. Volf and engaging with others doing similar work will further catalyze our thinking about how new churches can intentionally create spaces where individuals and communities can truly thrive.

Three of our team members will be participating. If you plan to attend the event in Abilene, we’d love to connect! Reach out at contact@missionalive.org.
