| Mission Accelerator!
Earlier this summer, Mission Alive launched a new initiative we call Mission Accelerator. Mission Accelerator is designed to help our current IFC development projects to make rapid progress toward launching a carefully crafted missional engagement that can transform their selected marginalized community. We’ve structured a series of four workshops where each of the IFC teams will share their team’s progress toward completing Mission Alive’s transformational engagement design steps. In this collaborative environment, the teams will share their insights from community research interviews, mapping community resources, designing transformation journeys, and detailing their engagement designs. IFC teams will have the opportunity to share lessons learned, brainstorm to solve challenges, build on one another’s work, and find encouragement for their pioneering efforts with other teams sharing a similar journey.
The workshop series will conclude with an all-day, in-person celebration on January 23, 2026, in Irving, Texas. We are excited to see how God continues working through these five IFC projects to form new faith communities addressing marginalized needs in Irving, Texas; Lufkin, Texas; Bertram, Texas; Ft. Worth, Texas and Spartanburg, South Carolina. |
