Fall Celebration!

Mission813, Mission Alive’s alliance of women leaders, gathered in Allen, Texas, to introduce new friends to Mission813’s powerful mission.
Lisa Vance, Mission Alive’s planter in Regina, Saskatchewan, joined us by video to share a beautiful story of encouragement and friendship. For more than five years, Lisa and two of our Mission813 leaders, Denise and Shelia, have met monthly on Zoom, building a relationship rooted in prayer and care for one another. Lisa shared how their faithful presence has helped sustain her through personal and ministry challenges. Denise and Shelia, in turn, described the deep blessing of sharing life with Lisa
(Click on the video below to hear Lisa’s testimony).
Later, Nancy Gonzalez, a Mission Alive church planter in Fort Worth, Texas, spoke candidly about the difficulty and loneliness of church planting leadership. Like Lisa, she expressed appreciation for the support she has received from Mission813. As they move into a new community in Ft. Worth, she anticipates how this continued support will empower her to speak and act more boldly.
Mission813 is looking for more women to come alongside other female church planters like Lisa and Nancy.
The women of Mission813 are like the women in Luke 8:1-3 who willing support Mission Alive’s modern-day disciples who are pushing forward the Kingdom of God.
