Mission 813

Mission813 was born out of the desire to emulate the women described in Luke 8:1-3, who gave of their own means to support Jesus’ work.

The primary function of Mission813 is to provide encouragement, specifically to the female innovative faith community (IFC) leaders, in financial and practical ways.

After this, Jesus traveled about from one town and village to another, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom of God. The Twelve were with him, and also some women who had been cured of evil spirits and diseases: Mary (called Magdalene) from whom seven demons had come out; Joanna the wife of Chuza, the manager of Herod’s household; Susanna; and many others. These women were helping to support them out of their own means. –Luke 8:1-3

  • Participate in our holiday Zoom events in the spring and fall.
  • Attend and help with local events hosted by Mission813 (as appropriate).
  • Commit to give financially out of their own means as God calls them.
