March is Women’s History Month. Across the world women are being celebrated for the impact they have made in our world. Women who were ready to speak for others through actions and engage faith in very real terms. Women, many of whose names are familiar, like Corrie Ten Boom, Rosa Parks and Clara Barton. Others are less known, like Jennifer Wiseman and Lialas Trotter. However, for each woman publicly celebrated, there are countless women who have quietly led, served, and advocated for others and who have impacted our world in ways that will never be written in the history pages.

As Mission Alive envisions the future, we envision communities impacted by women who use their talents and vocational callings to change their communities and to engage others with the very real hands-on love of Jesus. We envision and invite bold leadership by women who develop and grow innovative communities of faith that reach those disillusioned by traditional church. We also embrace those women who will step up, support and enthusiastically embrace these new leaders through prayer and financial support. In the month of March, we invite you to consider the impact, the need and the potential of women who will listen for their calling and boldly step into a role of leadership, service or support. If we can explore this with you in any way, please reach out HERE as a first step
