Introducing IFC leader: Kelly Bolin
Bertram, Texas
Mission Alive is proud to introduce Kelly Bolin – Mission Alive’s newest Innovative Faith Community leader. Kelly has lived in the Liberty Hill area of Texas for many years. Most recently, she has served as the Associate for Congregations at the Austin Presbyterian Seminary in Austin, Texas. In her previous career, she taught math in public schools and served as a school principal. After her career in education, Kelly sensed God’s calling to a deeper study of the Bible. This motivated her to complete a Master of Divinity degree at Abilene Christian University, where she will start a Doctor of Ministry degree this summer. She and her husband, Joe, have two biological children and three children whom they have fostered. Their hearts run deep for those with great struggles and few resources. Joe owns a feed store in Bertram, Texas, where Kelly will plant a new Innovative Faith Community (IFC) and focus on educational support as her missional engagement.
Kelly has a tremendous support system from her church, the Georgetown Church of Christ in Georgetown, Texas. She has received encouragement from several friends, notably Paul Partlow, Preaching Minister, who is also a former member of the Mission Alive team! Currently, Kelly is growing her team and is already working with Emily Vincent who has committed to working with Kelly to launch this new IFC. Kelly and her team have a large an exciting task ahead of them. Please join us in praying for Kelly as she and her team complete their training and launch a new Innovative Faith Community (IFC) in Bertram, Texas. |
