Redland Hills Church has been growing rapidly in our kids’ spaces and students coming to faith in Christ. We regularly welcome almost 60 kids 6th grade and down every Sunday! Our student ministry has also seen 12 baptisms in 2024! This growth comes out of our efforts to host an outdoor movie night for the community, back-to-school bash, and student outreach nights for students to bring their friends. In August, we helped equip parents with a seminar on helping kids with anxiety and resiliency. This attention has extended to parents of children with special needs. We recently partnered with Culture City to offer sensory kits for kids in our worship spaces. A new buddy system provides an adult volunteer to help kids with special needs participate in our kids spaces and thrive. It’s just a part of the way we are reaching out to families in our community who can be easily forgotten or feel overwhelmed with life.
