Exciting IFC Updates!

This year continues to be an extraordinary time for Mission Alive IFCs (Innovative Faith Communities.)  We currently have more church plant projects (IFCs) in development and more prospective IFCs in our pipeline than at any time since Mission Alive started in 2004.

You have heard about our Rural and Small Town Initiative (RSTI) that is partially funded by a grant from Pepperdine University and the Lilly Foundation, Inc.  We have two IFCs currently working in rural communities: Jason and Sarah Hollinger in Lufkin, Texas, and Kelly Bolin in Bertram, Texas.  We expect our RSTI plants to increase by at least 3 more over the next year!

Our newest IFC leaders, Andre’ and Amber Ashford, recently completed Mission Alive’s assessment process (you’ll read more about that process in next week’s Freshwater.)  Andre’ and Amber live in Reidville, South Carolina.  They were introduced to Mission Alive by Dr. Paul Day, pastor of the Oak Gardens Church in the south Dallas area.  Andre’ and Amber will soon begin launching a new IFC in Upstate South Carolina.

In addition to the IFCs currently in development, we have another 13 prospective IFCs from Ontario to New Orleans and from North Carolina to Ft Worth, Texas!  How exciting to see God moving in such powerful ways!  Please join us in thanking God and praying for our new IFC leaders.
