Made for More recognizes that focusing on a few key needs in a community can have a big impact. That is why they have chosen to focus on supporting children who struggle with reading and equipping young adults with the life skills they need to succeed. By utilizing Bertram’s active retiree population, they not only provide mentors and role models but also celebrate and honor the generations who built the community.
Andre’ and Amber Ashford are currently in the research phase of launching a new IFC in the Spartanburg, South Carolina area. The conversations and interviews they conduct will provide insight into the community-areas that are working and areas that need strengthening. From there they will prayerfully discern how to join with other community partners to share God’s love by walking alongside others and meeting those needs.
