Mission813 Giving Day is almost here!
The Mission813 Women are excited to announce this year’s Giving Day goal of $50,000. Our efforts will help bring Evan Tardy onto the Mission Alive staff full-time while also funding several immediate ministry needs.
Why is this a Mission813 focus? In Luke 8:1–3, courageous women helped launch and support Jesus’ ministry through their generosity. We want to follow their example by helping launch Evan’s ministry and empowering her to make a lasting impact.
Evan, a former school teacher, recently completed her ministry degree at ACU. While there, she volunteered with Mission Alive and was drawn to its innovative approach to ministry. Mission Alive recognized her gifts and invited her to join the team, where she recruits, trains, and encourages innovative faith community leaders.
Currently, Evan serves part-time while we work to raise the support needed to bring her onto staff full-time.
